ALTAR SERVERS: Any parishioner may serve at Mass after receiving First Holy Communion. However, this ministry is inactive right now during the pandemic.
EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF COMMUNION (EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS): Assist in the distribution of Holy Communion at Masses. Must be Confirmed.
PROCLAIMERS (LECTORS): Baptized men, women, and youth who have received their First Holy Communion are welcome to join this ministry to proclaim the first two Scripture readings at Mass.
HOSPITALITY MINISTERS (USHERS & GREETERS): Arrive 20 minutes before Mass, hand out bulletins, help with seating parishioners, flow of traffic, and distribute wipes after each Mass.
EXTRA ORDINARY MINISTER OF COMMUNION (Eucharistic Minister) FOR THE HOMEBOUND: Take Holy Communion to individuals, according to Mesa County and Diocesean guidelines that are homebound, residing in Assisted Living Facilities or hospitalized.
SACRISTANS: Follow the Priest’s direction for “Set up” and “Close up” for each Mass. Sacristans are responsible for ordering supplies when needed including, candles, votive lights, linens etc..
MUSICIANS: By singing together, we become one body in Christ. It is our prayer that those who hear our offering will feel the Spirit of God within and that they will be renewed, invigorated, and comforted.
