1918 - 1920Father Edward S. Muenich was a talented musician and became involved with the high school band, organizing and performing summer concerts in the park.
Father Muenich pointed out to the Bishop that the church would be in a much better position to serve the people, if it was located near Park Square since the town of Cleveland was not prospering. The Bishop agreed and the property was purchased at Aspen Avenue and Maple Street.
Father Muenich was born on August 3, 1871 and died on January 6, 1937. He is buried in Jefferson Wisconsin.
