1999 - 2001Fr. Liam Courtney registered with Sacred Heart Church on May 23, 1996 and was ordained a diocesan priest on June 11, 1999. He served the Sacred Heart Parish until 2001.
From 1992 until 2001, Sacred Heart was "Clustered" with St. Joseph. Two nuns, Sister Barbara Piotrowski and Sister Marilyn Bever were assigned as Parish Administrators.
Father Courtney was one of six visiting priests that came from St. Joseph's to conduct services in Fruita.
