1949 - 1953Father Lucien Ronald Laureau was born February 6, 1916 in Highgate Center, Vermont. He attended St. Mary's Seminary in Randolph, Vermont and was ordained on June 7, 1941 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Burlington, Vermont.
He was a member of the Society of the Fathers of St. Edmund.
Father Laureau came to the Diocese of Pueblo on September 22, 1945.
Reported to be "very intelligent, and alert; he was out-going and out-spoken and this trait often landed him in trouble".
Father Laureau eventually resigned and left the church. He died on August 28, 1997 in Escondido, California.
